The Treasury Technology team is based across India and the UK, and is part of a wider Finance systems engineering team. You will join the UK team, focusing on enhancing the treasury system and developing a roadmap alongside the strategic solution of Findur. The India team will focus on maintaining and operating existing solutions.
In this role, you will work independently on engineering and service tasks, with knowledge of specific systems and domains. You will be responsible for configuration and support processes, delivering quality solutions and services that save time, effort, or money. You should have expertise in systems and applications used within Tesco, along with an understanding of infrastructure and integrations. Keeping up-to-date with technological trends is also important.
Responsibilities include:
- Leading key system projects, including upgrades and major changes
- Serving as subject matter expert for the Treasury system and interfaces
- Proposing solutions for infrastructure and applications
- Configuring and designing Treasury solutions within Treasury Management System
- Ensuring projects are performed properly, including testing and validation
- Managing change requests, testing, deployment, and following Tesco's change processes
- Using tools like Git-HUB and Jira
- Understanding project methodologies like Agile and Scrum
- Assisting teams with Findur issues and system analysis
- Maintaining documentation and monitoring scheduled jobs
Minimum requirements include:
- Knowledge of Openlink Findur/Endur Treasury Management System
- Experience with financial instruments and modules like Trading Explorer, Referential Data, and others
- Experience in system upgrades, maintenance, and major changes
- Ability to analyze, debug, and resolve system issues
- Understanding of systems architecture and database management
- Experience with tools like Eclipse and MSSQL Server
