This ground-breaking opportunity will have you working with innovative Load Balancing infrastructure, managing the entire development and support process. Your contributions will directly benefit our colleagues and customers, saving time, effort, and money, and pushing boundaries in a retail setting.
Key Responsibilities
- Craft and deliver network solutions using our existing network infrastructure.
- Implement new Network technologies and establish standard methodologies for their adoption.
- Resolve incidents and problems within your technical area of responsibility.
- Contribute to the Technology Roadmap for Tesco Network Services.
- Evaluate new tools and techniques, understanding their value and impact.
- Lead group design discussions and present with authority to various audiences.
- Collaborate with other technical teams to understand their requirements and assist them in consuming Infrastructure seamlessly.
- Keep your technical skills up to date and track new technologies, assessing their potential benefits for the Technology team and wider Tesco.
- Introduce automation to all aspects of your daily work.
Skills / Experience Required
- Proven experience crafting and deploying solutions for large, complex global organizations.
- Analytical and structured approach to craft, process, and advanced troubleshooting.
- Ability to work with Architecture teams to produce and maintain high-quality HLD/LLD and standard documentation.
- Well-organized self-starter with personal ownership and accountability in work streams and project life cycles.
- Ability to build and maintain positive relationships within and across teams.
- Effective communicator, capable of delivering and presenting designs, strategies, and concepts both in written and verbal form.
- Proactive in keeping up-to-date with the latest industry technologies and associated supplier solutions.
