Pay
Our Tesco Colleague rate of pay starts from £13.28 an hour; increases to £14.55 for stores within the M25. Additional payments may apply depending on location.
Hours
We offer at least 16 guaranteed hours per week, with flexibility down to a minimum of 12 hours.
Responsibilities
- Help to serve shoppers better every day.
- Meet great people, learn new things, and be part of a diverse team.
- Work within the store: service, picking and replenishment, ensuring safety and customer service excellence.
- Make decisions that benefit customers, delivering routines that meet their needs.
- Participate in seasonal, community, and charity events.
- Track store performance and contribute to driving service and sales, reducing waste and shrink.
- Handle products with care to maintain quality.
- Accept deliveries into the store when required.
Qualifications / Experience
- Passion for delivering great service and greeting customers with a smile.
- Ability to build rapport with customers, ensuring a memorable shopping trip.
- Take initiative and make customer-focused decisions.
- Good teamwork and communication skills.
- Ready to be a brand ambassador: punctual, well-presented.
- Knowledgeable about store products and services.
