Responsibilities:
- Serve as a permanent member of the delivery team as a Van driver.
- Pick goods for the delivery team using a handheld terminal and inform Manager of any differences.
- Check quality, shelf life, and ensure packaging is robust for delivery.
- Process deliveries efficiently to target and provide a high standard of customer service.
- Deliver goods to customers, loading/unloading stock at the branch and at the customer premises, ensuring accurate completion of paperwork.
- Respond politely to delivery staff and handle queries and complaints, escalating complex situations as appropriate.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Full driving licence.
- Over 18 years of age; this role requires working before 6:15 am or after 9:45 pm or in areas such as warehouse, beers, wines & spirits, and driving roles.
- A can-do attitude.
- A passion for customer service.
- Willingness to go the extra mile.
- Always be on time and properly presented.
