Pay starts at £13.28 an hour; increases to £14.55 for stores within the M25. Minimum guaranteed hours of 16 per week are offered, with options to work fewer hours (minimum 12). Shift schedules are planned within the stated availability windows with at least three weeks' notice.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver excellent customer service by greeting shoppers, providing assistance, and ensuring a pleasant shopping experience.
  • Understand and present products and services within the store, answering customer queries and offering appropriate solutions.
  • Operate in the service, picking and replenishment areas as required.
  • Apply training to work safely, effectively, and deliver customer service at a high standard.
  • Make customer-focused decisions and encourage routine practices that meet their needs at the right time.
  • Participate in seasonal, community and charity events, fostering an inclusive atmosphere.
  • Monitor store performance, understand your role in driving service and sales, reducing waste, shrink and contributing to profit.
  • Handle merchandise with care to maintain quality and ensure customers receive products in optimal condition.
  • Accept shop deliveries when required.
