Benefits & Pay
Tesco Shift Lead Night pay starts at €15.59 per hour, rising to €16.86 in stores within the M25. For all hours worked between midnight and 6am you will receive an additional night premium of €2.35 per hour worked. Some locations may offer additional payments. We guarantee a minimum of 16 hours per week, though roles from 12 hours are also available. Your contracted hours will be scheduled within the availability windows shown, with at least 3 weeks notice of your shifts. If your availability is close to what we’re looking for, we still encourage you to apply. Please note that you need to be 18 or over to apply for this role.

- Leading the team to deliver a great experience for customers in-store
- Working across all areas of the store and with all colleagues, being the go-to person for day‑to‑day operational queries
- Building positive, inclusive relationships that help colleagues perform at their best
- Confidently leading the store in the Manager’s absence
- Making balanced, flexible decisions and adapting well to change
- Coaching colleagues, giving feedback and role‑modeling great service

- Experience working in a team lead or management position in a fast‑paced retail environment
- Be a strong role model with a passion for delivering great service and ensuring every customer’s needs are met

- A clear communicator, using a variety of methods to keep the team well informed
- A natural leader who motivates and inspires the team to deliver outstanding results
