Pay and Hours: Tesco Shift Lead pay starts at £15.59 per hour, rising to £16.86 in stores within the M25. Some locations may offer additional payments. We guarantee a minimum of 16 hours per week, though roles from 12 hours are also available. Your contracted hours will be scheduled within the availability windows shown, with at least 3 weeks’ notice of your shifts. If your availability is close to what we’re looking for, we still encourage you to apply.

- Leading the team to deliver a great experience for customers in-store.
- Working across all areas of the store and with all colleagues, being the go-to person for day-to-day operational queries.
- Building positive, inclusive relationships that help colleagues perform at their best.
- Confidently leading the store in the Manager’s absence.
- Making balanced, flexible decisions and adapting well to change.
- Coaching colleagues, giving feedback and role‑modeling great service.
