Our Tesco colleague rate of pay starts from £13.28 an hour; this increases to £14.55 for stores within the M25. Additional payments may also apply depending on location. We guarantee a minimum of 16 hours each week, but you may also work a minimum of 12 hours if desired.

- Process transactions and declare moneys/stock with accuracy and integrity whilst processing cash transactions with accuracy and confidence.
- Handling confidential and important documents with care and attention to detail.
- Completing all regulatory training and tests in accordance with required timescales.
- Ensuring compliance with any legislative or contract requirements.
- Disposing of confidential waste in accordance with the confidential waste routines.
- Taking part in seasonal, community and charity events, creating a great inclusive atmosphere.
- Being yourself, living our values, making everyone feel welcome and always following our policies.
- Working across the store in our service, picking and replenishment areas where required.

Legal & Eligibility Requirements:
- If you are successful in your application, you will be required to complete a P250 check as part of our compliance process which includes a financial check.
- Telephone or appointment details for the check will be provided during the interview.
- Tesco will only recruit individuals who have passed the school leaver’s age.
- We can only accept candidates over the age of 18 if the role requires working before 6:15 am or after 9:45 pm or involves working in areas such as the warehouse, beer, wine & spirits, counters, bakery and driving roles.
