Contract Hours:
Guaranteed minimum of 12 hours per week. Your contracted hours will be scheduled within the availability windows shown, with at least 3 weeks’ notice of your shifts.
Compensation:
Tesco Phone Shop Colleague pay starts at £13.70 per hour, rising to £14.97 in stores within the M25. Some locations may offer additional payments.
Responsibilities:
- Providing friendly, natural service and getting to know your customers.
- Providing flexible support across the Phone Shop and wider store, including helping customers choose the right mobile products and services, completing phone and contract setups, and supporting customers with a range of tech queries.
- Making customer focused decisions and completing key store routines.
- Understanding how your role supports great service, strong sales, waste reduction and overall store performance.
- Delivering great service, greeting every customer with a smile, and serving them with pride while helping them find the right mobile products and solutions.
- Building rapport quickly so customers leave feeling confident, supported, and having had a great experience in the Phone Shop.
- Initiating the right decisions for customers, whether you’re solving a tech query, recommending a product, or supporting with a contract setup.
- Maintaining a positive, team‑focused approach, communicating openly, working well with colleagues across the store, having fun, and celebrating success together.
