Pay & Hours

Our Tesco Colleague rate of pay starts from £13.28 an hour; this increases to £14.55 for stores within the M25. Additional payments may also apply depending on location. We offer a minimum of 16 guaranteed hours each week. We also have options for 12‑hour weeks.

Responsibilities

  • Help to serve our shoppers better every day.
  • Meet great people, learn new things and be part of a specialist, diverse team where everyone is welcome.
  • Provide passionate and knowledgeable service to customers.
  • Work across the store in service, picking and replenishment areas where required.
  • Apply training safely and effectively to serve our customers brilliantly.
  • Make decisions that are right for customers, delivering routines in store that meet the needs of customers at the right time.
  • Take part in seasonal, community and charity events, creating a great inclusive atmosphere.
  • Be knowledgeable about your store’s performance, understanding your part and what we need to do together to drive service and sales, reduce waste and shrink and deliver profit.
  • Handle products with care to maintain quality and ensure they reach customers in the best condition.

  • Accept deliveries into the store when required.
