Availability and Working Hours

Availability Window: Wed 20:00 – 08:00; Sat 20:00 – 08:00.

Our Tesco Colleague rate of pay starts from £13.28 an hour, increasing to £14.55 for stores within the M25. For all hours worked between midnight and 6am you will receive an additional night premium of £2.35 per hour. Additional payments may also apply depending on location. We offer a minimum of 16 guaranteed hours each week, with the possibility of fewer hours (to a minimum of 12).

  • Participating in seasonal, community, and charity events, creating a great inclusive atmosphere.
  • Understanding store performance, driving service and sales, reducing waste and shrink, and delivering profit.
  • Handling products with care to maintain quality and ensure they reach customers in the best condition.
  • Living the company's values, making everyone feel welcome, and always following policies.
  • Accepting deliveries into the store when required.
