Responsibilities
- Providing friendly, natural service and getting to know your customers.
- Being confident with our products and services and offering help when needed.
- Providing flexible support across the store, including shelf replenishment, checkout service, online order picking, occasional delivery assistance, and general service and replenishment duties.
- Making customer-focused decisions and completing key store routines.
- Understanding how your role supports great service, strong sales, waste reduction and overall store performance.
- A passion for delivering great service, greeting customers with a smile, and serving them with pride.
- Building rapport so customers leave having had a great experience.
- Using your initiative to make the right decisions for customers.
- Working well in a team and communicating openly, having fun, and celebrating success.
Benefits
- Tesco Colleague pay starts at 13.28 per hour, rising to 14.55 in stores within the M25.
- Some locations may offer additional payments.
- Guaranteed minimum of 16 hours per week; roles from 12 hours are also available.
