Pay and hours:
Our Tesco Colleague rate of pay starts from £13.28 an hour; this increases to £14.55 for stores within the M25. Additional payments may also apply depending on location. We offer new colleagues a minimum of 16 guaranteed hours each week, but fewer hours (to a minimum of 12) are also possible.
Responsibilities:
- Help to serve our shoppers better every day.

- Work across the store in service, picking and replenishment areas where required.

- Be knowledgeable about store performance and understand the part played in driving service and sales.
- Handle products with care to maintain quality and ensure they reach customers in the best condition.
- Be yourself, live our values, make everyone feel welcome and follow our policies.
- At times, accept deliveries into the store.
- Deliver great service, greet customers with a smile, and serve them with pride.
- Build rapport with customers to ensure they leave having experienced a great shopping trip.

Requirements:
You must be over 18 to apply for this role. You can only be considered if you meet the age requirement for early/late shifts or specific store areas as described in the policy. Minimum age requirement applies to roles involving working before 6:15 am or after 9:45 pm or in warehouse, beverages, counters, bakery, and driving roles.
