Responsibilities:

  • Serve as a permanent member of the delivery team as a Van driver.
  • Pick goods for the delivery team using a handheld terminal and inform Manager of any differences.
  • Check quality, shelf life, and ensure packaging is robust for delivery.
  • Process deliveries efficiently to target and provide a high standard of customer service.
  • Deliver goods to customers, loading/unloading stock at the branch and at the customer premises, ensuring accurate completion of paperwork.
  • Respond politely to delivery staff and handle queries and complaints, escalating complex situations as appropriate.

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Full driving licence.
  • Over 18 years of age; this role requires working before 6:15 am or after 9:45 pm or in areas such as warehouse, beers, wines & spirits, and driving roles.
  • A can-do attitude.
  • A passion for customer service.
  • Willingness to go the extra mile.
  • Always be on time and properly presented.
