Availability Window

  • Days: Sun 10:00 - 18:00
  • Fri 11:00 - 19:00
  • Sat 12:00 - 20:00

Pay and Hours

Pay starts from £13.28 an hour; this increases to £14.55 for stores within the M25. Additional payments may also apply depending on location. We offer a minimum of 16 guaranteed hours each week, with the option to work fewer hours down to a minimum of 12.

Responsibilities

  • Help to serve our shoppers better every day.
  • Meet great people, learn new things and be part of a specialist, diverse team where everyone is welcome.
  • Know your customers and serve them with passion and pride; giving great natural service.
  • Be passionate and knowledgeable about the products and services within the store.
  • Put into practice the training received, working safely, effectively and serving customers brilliantly.
  • Deal with customer complaints and feedback in a professional manner, always sending customers home happy.
  • Accurately record any customer details and treat this information confidentially.
  • Carry out safe & legal checks on the desk that you are trained for, reporting any next steps to the Shift Leader/Team Manager.
  • Record and dispose of waste responsibly, including following food waste and recycling routines.
  • Accurately record and process returned items from customers.
  • Sign in visitors, ensuring they are aware of the health, safety and fire procedures for the store.
  • Control keys that may be stored at the desk correctly.
  • Liaise with Shift Leaders, Managers and Security, communicating clearly.
  • Take part in seasonal, community and charity events, creating a great inclusive atmosphere.
  • Work across the store in service, picking and replenishment areas where required.
  • Handle products with care to maintain quality and ensure they reach customers in the best condition.
  • Be yourself, live our values, make everyone feel welcome and always follow our policies.

  • Must be over 18 years old.
  • A passion for delivering great service, greeting customers with a smile, and serving them with pride.
  • The ability to build rapport with customers, ensuring they leave the store having experienced a great shopping trip.
