The predicted salary is between 30000 - 35256 £ per year.
Working as part of the transport team at our Royton Depot you will play an important part in achieving divisional targets by providing a first class, on time and friendly delivery service between depots.
Role and Responsibilities
- You will be aware and adhere to all driving legislation required for driving a LGV vehicle, following all Health and Safety procedures and be responsible for own and other people’s Health and Safety.
- You will comply at all times with all relevant legislation in food safety and chill chain standards and ensure that the fridge is set to the correct temperature for the job being done.
- You will ensure that your vehicle is maintained in a safe and clean condition by completing all safety checks, filling in your defect book and ensuring the correct paperwork accompanies the correct trunk e.g., trunk manifest, backhaul paperwork.
- You must co-operate fully with the driver debrief procedure and undertake any other duties that may prove necessary e.g., multi-drop deliveries, yard duties, shunting.
Working Hours
48 hours per week which may include Saturdays and public holidays. Potential Overtime available.

- It is essential that you hold a current LGV Class 1 driving licence and a valid CPC card.
