Tesco Colleague pay starts at £13.28 per hour, rising to £14.55 in stores within the M25. Some locations may offer additional payments. We guarantee a minimum of 16 hours per week, though roles from 12 hours are also available. Your contracted hours will be scheduled within the availability windows shown, with at least 3 weeks’ notice of your shifts. If your availability is close to what we’re looking for, we still encourage you to apply.

Responsibilities

  • Providing friendly, natural service and getting to know your customers.
  • Being confident with our products and services and offering help when needed.
  • Providing flexible support across the store, including shelf replenishment, checkout service, online order picking, occasional delivery assistance, and general service and replenishment duties.
  • Making customer focused decisions and completing key store routines.
  • Understanding how your role supports great service, strong sales, waste reduction and overall store performance.
  • A passion for delivering great service, greeting customers with a smile, and serving them with pride.
  • To build rapport so customers leave having had a great experience.
  • To use your initiative and make the right decisions for customers.
