Availability Window: Sun 05:00-13:30, Mon 02:00-10:30, Tue 02:00-10:30, Wed 02:00-10:30, Thu 02:00-07:00, Sat 02:00-08:00

Pay & Hours: Rate starts at £13.38 per hour, increasing to £14.59 inside the M25. Pay may vary by location. Minimum guaranteed hours: 16 per week, with flexibility down to 12 hours.

Role Overview: Help serve shoppers better each day. Meet great people, learn new things and join a diverse, welcoming team. Provide support and progress opportunities.

Responsibilities:

  • Know customers and serve them with passion and pride.
  • Bake scratch products in waves to keep products fresh and reduce waste.
  • Handle products carefully to maintain quality.
  • Adhere to all food hygiene, safety and allergen guidelines.
  • Apply training to work safely, effectively and serve customers brilliantly.
  • Check emergency stop buttons and machinery safety before operation; report steps to Shift Leader/Team Manager.
  • Dispose of waste responsibly, following recycling routines.
  • Understand store performance and work to drive service, sales, reduce waste and shrink and deliver profit.
  • Live our values, be yourself and ensure everyone feels welcome.
  • Work across service, picking and replenishment areas as required.

Requirements:

  • Must be over 18 years old.
  • If working before 6:15 a.m. or after 9:45 p.m., or in areas such as the warehouse, beers, wines & spirits, counters, bakery, or driving roles, must also be over 18.
  • Ability to work flexible hours within the availability window.
  • Pass capacity to follow food hygiene and safety training.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Prior customer service experience is desirable.
