As F&F Brand Team Manager, you will ideally have fashion experience including visual merchandising, customer service and team management skills. You will have an eye for detail, ensuring your department is upholding to the highest operational standards for our customers. You will be familiar with the fast-paced environment of clothing retail and can deliver results under pressure.
You will take a lead role in driving the F&F business forward in your store as well as for launching trade events and weekly sales. Additionally, you will lead a team of dedicated colleagues and manage day-to-day operations.
- Recruiting and training the best people for your team, ensuring they have the capability to deliver above and beyond in their role by developing their operational and leadership skills.
- Coaching your team to be passionate and knowledgeable about the products in your store, building its brand and providing customers with the right range, quality and service to ensure they keep coming back.
- Leading your team in the driving of trade activity and using your expertise and knowledge to grow sales and maximise profit.
- Ensuring the safety of your colleagues is your top priority, and coaching the team to use all security tools available to provide a safer place to work.
- Managing colleague schedules on F&F ensuring the right people are in the right place in accordance to our F&F operating model and trade plan, within agreed hours.
- Overseeing the end-to-end F&F operation, managing the stock from backdoor to shopfloor.
- Managing and motivating the team to deliver on key metrics to support the operation including RFID routines, availability, delivery schedules and stock routines.
- Ensuring F&F is always clean, tidy and well-presented and merchandised to the F&F principles and standards.
- Being a brand ambassador - executing commercial strategies and maintaining store displays that consistently align with brand identity.
- Delivering practical actions to make improvements where necessary by conducting a daily floor walk outlining the tasks to be completed for the day by the team.
- Analysing product performance and sales data to refine visual merchandising strategies and optimise promotional initiatives ensuring profitability is maximised and sales targets are regularly reached, if not overachieved.
- Completing market research, analysing trends, competitor activity, and consumer behaviour (including social media and F&F online).
- Having a commercial mind-set, knowing your customers and local community, to advertise and regularly change lead ins to entice customers onto the F&F department and adapt product placement to respond effectively to changing market conditions.
- Curating visual impactful merchandising displays and a welcoming store atmosphere in line with the visual merchandising guidelines set out in your VM guide adapting your store layouts to reflect local customer profile.
- Building strong relationships with your team (including colleagues who work on F&F overnight), the wider store team and your home and clothing area manager, including providing feedback and sharing future opportunities.
- Being a great communicator who shares knowledge, experience and best practices, understanding the importance of what you do and working collaboratively with your team to deliver results.
- Being natural and welcoming with customers, putting them at the heart of whatever you do, taking the time to listen and understand others, building strong relationships with your colleagues and customers.
