Responsibilities
- Know your customers and serve them with passion, pride, and natural service.
- Be knowledgeable about the products and services within the store.
- Work across the store including service, picking, and replenishment areas as required.
- Apply training to work safely, effectively, and serve customers brilliantly.
- Make customer‑centric decisions, delivering routines that meet customer needs at the right time.
- Participate in seasonal, community, and charity events, creating an inclusive atmosphere.
- Stay informed about the store’s performance and contribute to driving service, sales, waste reduction, shrinkage, and profit.
- Handle products with care to maintain quality and ensure customers receive them in the best condition.
- Live Tesco’s values, make everyone feel welcome and always follow policies.
- Accept deliveries into the store when required.

Benefits
- Pay: £13.28 an hour, increasing to £14.55 for stores within the M25. Additional payments may apply depending on location.
- Guaranteed hours: minimum 16 hours per week, with flexibility to work as few as 12 hours.
Work Hours & Availability
- Availability windows (example):
- Sunday: 10:15 – 17:15
- Thursday: 17:00 – 23:00
- Friday: 17:00 – 23:00
- Saturday: 16:00 – 22:00
Shifts are scheduled within these windows. You will receive at least 3 weeks' notice of exact shift times.
