Availability Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday from 16:00 to 22:00.

Pay and Hours

Our Tesco Colleague rate starts from £13.28 an hour, increasing to £14.55 for stores within the M25. Additional payments may apply depending on location. We guarantee a minimum of 16 hours per week, but we also offer part‑time options down to 12 hours.

Responsibilities

  • Provide excellent customer service and greet customers with a smile.
  • Build rapport with customers so they leave with a positive shopping experience.
  • Be knowledgeable about the products and services in your store.
  • Use the training you have received to work safely, effectively and serve customers brilliantly.
  • Work across the store in service, picking and replenishment areas as required.
  • Participate in seasonal, community and charity events to create a great inclusive atmosphere.
  • Understand your store's performance, help drive service and sales, reduce waste and shrink, and deliver profit.
  • Handle products with care to maintain quality and ensure they reach customers in the best condition.
  • Accept deliveries into the store when needed.
  • Work well within a team, communicate openly with others, and support colleagues.
  • Be punctual, well‑presented, and act as a brand ambassador.
