Days: Thu 12:00–17:15, Fri 14:00–20:00, Sat 15:00–21:00.
Availability windows are when contracted hours will be scheduled. You will receive three weeks' notice of exact shift times. Flexibility is supported if your available hours closely match the advertised times.
Pay: Our Tesco Colleague rate of pay starts from £13.28 an hour; increases to £14.55 for stores within the M25. Additional payments may apply depending on location.
We offer a minimum of 16 guaranteed hours per week, with options for as few as 12 hours.
Responsibilities
- Know and serve customers with passion and pride, providing great natural service.
- Be passionate and knowledgeable about the products and services in your store.
- Work across the store in service, picking and replenishment areas where required.
- Apply the training received so that store operations are safe, effective and customer‑focused.
- Make decisions that are right for customers, delivering routines that meet their needs at the right time.
- Participate in seasonal, community and charity events, creating an inclusive atmosphere.
- Understand your store's performance, your role in service and sales, and support reduction of waste and shrinkage to drive profit.
- Handle products with care to maintain quality and ensure they reach customers in best condition.
- Live our values, make everyone feel welcome, and always follow policies.
- Accept deliveries into the store as required.
