Tesco Pharmacy Dispenser pay starts at £13.70 per hour, rising to £14.97 in stores within the M25. Some locations may offer additional payments. We guarantee a minimum of 16 hours per week, though roles from 12 hours are also available. Your contracted hours will be scheduled within the availability windows shown, with at least 3 weeks’ notice of your shifts. If your availability is close to what we’re looking for, we still encourage you to apply.

Supporting the daily operation of a modern Tesco Pharmacy as part of a collaborative team:

  • Accurately dispense prescription medicines with strong attention to detail and customer care.
  • Provide friendly, confident advice to customers on medicines, common ailments, and available pharmacy services.
  • Understand customer needs and recommend suitable products responsibly.
  • Handle queries within competence and elevate when needed.
  • Maintain high standards of cleanliness, organisation, and compliance with all Standard Operating Procedures.
  • Ensure all prescription administration is completed accurately and on time.
  • Support promotional activities and company initiatives.

Experience or qualifications gained from working in a Pharmacy environment. A desire to train and develop into the Pharmacy field. A passion for delivering great service, greeting every customer with a smile, and serving them with pride while helping them find the right products and solutions. The ability to build rapport quickly so customers leave feeling confident, supported, and reassured, having had a great experience at the Pharmacy counter. The initiative to make the right decisions for customers, whether you’re supporting them with over‑the‑counter product guidance, helping with prescription queries, or knowing when to refer them to the pharmacist for expert advice. A positive, team-focused approach, communicating openly, working well with colleagues across the store, having fun, and celebrating success together.
