Pay: Shift Leader rate starts from £15.59 an hour and increases to £16.86 for stores inside the M25. Additional payments may apply depending on location.
Hours: We offer a minimum of 16 guaranteed hours per week, with a flexible option for those who can work a minimum of 12 hours.
Responsibilities:
- Work in a fast‑paced retail environment, coordinating the team to deliver a clean, well‑stocked store that exceeds customer expectations.
- Assist customers, listening to them and helping them leave the store with what they came for.
- Look for ways to improve service by coaching colleagues and giving feedback.
- Guide and support colleagues in‑store, ensuring a safe place to work and shop.
- Maintain an understanding of store performance, assisting managers in delivering actions to improve operations.
- Lead from the front and set a great example for colleagues.
- Coordinate the store team to deliver an easy, fuss‑free shopping experience.
- Support colleagues, ensuring they deliver daily priorities and take regular breaks.
- Open and close the store, complete duty cover, and ensure safety decisions are made.
