Availability Window: Sun 14:00 – 22:00, Mon 15:00 – 22:00, Fri 09:00 – 18:00, Sat 09:00 – 18:00.

Pay and Hours: Our Tesco Colleague rate of pay starts from £13.28 an hour; this increases to £14.55 for stores within the M25. Additional payments may also apply depending on location. We offer a minimum of 16 guaranteed hours each week; if you would like to work fewer hours (to a minimum of 12) we also have opportunities for you. We will schedule your contracted hours within the availability windows and you’ll have 3 weeks' notice of exactly when your shifts will be.

  • Understand store performance, drive service and sales, reduce waste and shrink, and deliver profit.
  • Handle products with care to maintain quality and ensure best condition for customers.
  • Live the values and make everyone feel welcome while following policies.
  • May be required to accept deliveries into the store.
  • Have a passion for delivering great service, greeting customers with a smile.

Eligibility: PLEASE NOTE YOU MUST BE OVER 18 TO APPLY FOR THIS ROLE. Tesco will only recruit individuals who have passed the school leaver's age. We can only accept candidates over the age of 18 if the role requires working before 6:15 am or after 9:45 pm, or involves working in areas such as the warehouse, beers, wines and spirits, counters, bakery, and driving roles.
