Availability

Availability windows: Thursday 16:00–24:00, Friday 16:00–24:00, Saturday 16:00–24:00.

Hours and Pay

We offer a minimum of 16 guaranteed hours per week. If you prefer fewer hours, the minimum available is 12 hours. Pay starts at £13.28 per hour, increasing to £14.55 for stores within the M25. Additional payments may apply depending on location.

Responsibilities

  • Serve shoppers with passion and pride, providing great natural service.
  • Assist customers and provide product knowledge within your store.
  • Work across service, picking and replenishment areas as required.
  • Apply training to work safely, effectively and deliver excellent customer experience.
  • Make customer‑centric decisions, delivering store routines at the right time.
  • Participate in seasonal, community and charity events, creating an inclusive atmosphere.
  • Understand store performance and help drive service, sales and profit while reducing waste and shrink.
  • Handle products carefully to maintain quality and ensure customers receive them in best condition.
  • Wear the Tesco brand as a brand ambassador, being punctual, well‑presented and welcoming.
  • Accept deliveries into the store when required.

Work Details

Jobs are advertised with specific availability windows. We schedule hours within these windows and give at least 3 weeks' notice of shifts. Flexibility is considered if your availability closely matches the advertised windows.
