As a Store Manager at Booker, you’ll be free to use your skills to help our business grow.
It’s an exciting opportunity to let your talent shine and to build strong relationships with local business owners across a variety of sectors including cafés, pubs, restaurants, caterers, retailers and more.
Responsibilities
- Build rapport with local business owners and understand their needs to ensure their satisfaction.
- Inspire and support the team to perform at their best, driving sales and maintaining a positive store environment.
- Ensure the store operates safely and meets all health and safety regulations (our "health‑safe‑legal" priority).
- Manage online and delivery services in addition to the traditional shop‑floor operations.
- Increase customer satisfaction by proactively improving the customer experience.
Qualifications
- Experience in the food sector, retail or wholesale, or having run your own establishment such as a restaurant or pub.
- Strong commercial mindset, disciplined, detail‑oriented and a natural multi‑tasker.
- Excellent management skills and ability to shape and develop a team.
- A passion for the store and a clear sense of responsibility for its success.
