Responsibilities:
- Maintain the van and trays in a clean and organised state.
- Keep the back yard tidy, remove rubbish and pick up litter as needed.
- Wash trays as part of the tray wash process.
- Check the van for roadworthiness and load deliveries as required.
- Communicate with customers about any changes to their order, including short code items and substitutions, and offer refunds for items they are unhappy with.
- Take care of products and deliveries as if they were your own.
- Explain to the customer that they will not be charged for substitutions.
- Deliver during the customer's time slot.
- Call the customer before arriving at their property if early.
- Call the store/centre if running 30 or more minutes late.
- Build relationships with colleagues to create team spirit and ensure the store delivers the best possible experience for customers.
- Warm and welcoming in interactions with customers and colleagues, taking the time to understand the customer and say 'Thank you.'
- Act quickly to respond to the changing needs of customers and embrace change within the store.
- Energetic and driven to deliver beyond expectations, integrating home and work to achieve a balance that is right for me.
