Pay & Hours:

Our Tesco Colleague rate of pay starts from £13.28 an hour; this increases to £14.55 for stores within the M25. Additional payments may also apply depending on location. We offer a minimum of 16 guaranteed hours each week, with options for 12 hours.

Responsibilities:

  • Help to serve shoppers better every day.

  • Serve customers with passion and pride, giving great natural service.
  • Be knowledgeable about the products and services within the store.
  • Work across the store in service, picking and replenishment areas where required.
  • Put into practice the training received, working safely, effectively and serving customers brilliantly.
  • Make decisions that are right for customers, delivering routines that meet their needs at the right time.
  • Participate in seasonal, community and charity events, creating a great inclusive atmosphere.
  • Understand store performance, driving service and sales, reducing waste and shrink, and delivering profit.
  • Handle products with care to maintain quality and ensure they reach customers in best condition.
  • Live Tesco values, making everyone feel welcome and following policies.
  • Accept deliveries into the store when required.

Eligibility:

You must be over 18 to apply for this role. We require candidates over the age of 18 for positions working before 6:15 am, after 9:45 pm, or in areas such as the warehouse, beer, wine, spirits, counters, bakery, and driving roles.
