Do you want more local driving and be a valued member of a delivery team? Working 45 hours per week you will enjoy a varied role driving locally as well as building relationships with our regular customers.
Our drivers are the beating heart of our business and you will play a vital role in ensuring customers receive their deliveries on time and with a great service. Working on an “Any 5 from 7” contract, our shift patterns will include some weekend working.
Responsibilities
- Drive locally to deliver to regular customers and build relationships with them.
- Load stock into the vehicle at the Branch and unload at customer premises.
- Ensure paperwork is completed accurately and on time.
- Ensure customers receive deliveries on time and with a high level of service.
Requirements / Qualifications
- Cat C / 18T Licence
- Previous driving experience (at least two years)
- Previous delivery driving experience preferred
- Ability to carry out manual deliveries
- Excellent interpersonal skills with a positive customer service attitude
- Good literacy and numeracy
Contract and Benefits
