Pay: Starting at £13.28 per hour, increasing to £14.55 for stores within the M25. Additional payments may also apply depending on location.
Hours & Timing: We offer a minimum of 16 guaranteed hours per week, with flexibility to work from 12 hours up to full time. We schedule your contracted hours within the availability windows and give 3 weeks’ notice of your shifts.
Responsibilities:
- Provide excellent customer service, serving shoppers every day.
- Meet new people, learn new things and be part of a diverse team.
- Work across the store in service, picking and replenishment areas where required.
- Apply training to work safely and effectively and deliver outstanding service.
- Make decisions that benefit customers, delivering routines that meet their needs at the right time.
- Participate in seasonal, community and charity events, creating an inclusive atmosphere.
- Understand your store's performance and work to improve service, sales, reduce waste and shrink, and deliver profit.
- Handle products carefully to maintain quality and ensure they reach customers in best condition.
- Live the Tesco values, make everyone feel welcome and follow policies.
- Accept deliveries into the store when required.
