We have a fantastic opportunity to join our Fareham Distribution Centre as a Class 1 Driver, working as part of a supportive and hardworking team at the heart of our operation. This is a full‑time role based on a 45‑hour working week, with shifts across any 5 days out of 7. Flexibility is key, as this will include weekend working on a rota basis. As a Class 1 Driver, you’ll play a vital role in delivering excellent service to our customers. The role involves manual handling and physical work, including hand‑balling stock at delivery points and working outdoors in varying weather conditions. This makes it ideal for someone who enjoys an active role and takes pride in a job well done.

Responsibilities:

  • Safe delivery of stock to our independent retailers' stores.
  • Complete several multi‑drop deliveries a day (the amount each day will vary).
  • Ensure all paperwork is completed after delivery.
  • Ensure your vehicle is in good condition at the start and finish of your shift.
  • Work autonomously as well as part of the wider transport team.

Qualifications:

  • Class 1 licence holder.
  • Driver CPC holder.
  • Ability to deliver excellent customer service.
  • Experience of multi‑drop; temperature‑controlled food deliveries preferred, but not essential.
  • Flexibility to work varied routes and hours, including short notice.

Schedule & Working Hours:

  • 45‑hour contract with an alternating 2‑weekly rota: Week 1 – Monday to Friday; Week 2 – Monday to Saturday with a day off in the week.
  • Or 40‑hour contract: Week 1 – Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday; Week 2 – Monday, Tuesday, Friday, Saturday.
