Responsibilities
- Provide friendly, natural service and build rapport with customers to ensure a positive shopping experience.
- Be confident with Tesco products and services and offer help as needed.
- Provide flexible store support, including shelf replenishment, checkout service, online order picking, occasional delivery assistance, and general service and replenishment duties.
- Make customer-focused decisions and complete key store routines.
- Understand how your role supports great service, strong sales, waste reduction, and overall store performance.
- Deliver great service with a welcoming demeanor and pride in serving customers.
- Work well in a team, communicate openly, have fun, and celebrate success.

Compensation and Hours
- Tesco Colleague pay starts at £13.28 per hour, rising to £14.55 in stores within the M25.
- For all hours worked between midnight and 6am you will receive a night premium of £2.35 per hour.
- Some locations may offer additional payments.
- We guarantee a minimum of 16 hours per week; roles from 12 hours are also available.
- Your contracted hours will be scheduled within the availability windows shown, with at least 3 weeks’ notice of your shifts.
