Overview
We are hiring Customer Delivery Drivers. As a delivery driver you will deliver groceries to customers, represent Tesco with professionalism and ensure a safe and efficient delivery experience. Shift pattern: various shifts available.
Responsibilities
- Provide an excellent home shopping experience by putting customers at the heart of everything we do.
- Load the van and check it for roadworthiness.
- Understand the schedule and route calculated for you.
- Wear the proper uniform and be ready to help customers.
- Drive safely, responsibly and within the law.
- Be courteous to all road users.
- Serve customers with a smile and greet them by name.
- Treat customer deliveries as if they were your own, taking care of them.
Qualifications
- Full Irish or EU driving licence (manual or automatic) for at least 2 years with no more than 3 penalty points.
- Safe and courteous driving record.
- Enjoy helping others and possess excellent communication skills.
- Be personable, with a good sense of humour, and able to take initiative and common sense.
- Care about making a difference for customers and colleagues.
- Remain calm under pressure.
- No disqualification from driving within the last 10 years.
Additional Requirements
This role requires Garda vetting and a proof of current penalty points may be requested.
