Availability Days:

  • Sun: 09:00 - 17:30
  • Tue: 12:00 - 23:00
  • Wed: 12:00 - 23:00
  • Fri: 12:00 - 23:00

Pay:

Our Tesco Colleague rate of pay starts from £13.28 an hour; this increases to £14.55 for stores within the M25. Additional payments may also apply depending on location.

Hours and Flexibility Policy offers new colleagues a minimum of 16 guaranteed hours each week, with flexibility for fewer hours (minimum 12). Availability windows determine contracted hours with 3 weeks' notice of shift schedule.

  • Understand and contribute to store performance, reducing waste and shrink, and driving profitability.
  • Handle products with care to maintain quality and ensure customers receive items in the best condition.
  • Accept deliveries into the store when required.

Requirements:

You must be over 18 to apply for this role. Applicants over 18 may work flexible hours, with junior shifts approved for those above 18 but any work before 6:15 am, after 9:45 pm, or in specific areas such as warehouse, beer/wine/spirits, counters, bakery, and driving roles requires the candidate to be over 18.
