The predicted salary is between 14 - 15 £ per hour.

Availability Window: Sun 13:00‑23:00, Tue 09:00‑19:00, Sat 09:00‑16:00.

Pay and Hours: Rate of pay starts from £14.18 per hour, increasing to £15.45 for stores inside the M25. Additional payments may apply depending on location. We offer a minimum of 16 guaranteed hours each week, with the option to work as few as 12 hours if desired.

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure the van and trays are clean, tidy and organised.
  • Maintain the cleanliness of the back yard and dispose of litter.
  • Wash trays as part of the wash process.
  • Load the van, checking roadworthiness.
  • Communicate with customers about order changes, short codes, substitutions and refunds.
  • Care for deliveries as if they were your own.
  • Explain that customers will not be charged for substitutions.
  • Deliver within the customer’s time slot.
  • Call the customer before arrival if early.
  • Call the store/centre if running 30 minutes or more late.
  • Build relationships with colleagues to foster team spirit and improve customer experience.
  • Provide warm, welcoming interactions with customers and colleagues.
  • Respond quickly to changing customer needs and embrace change.
  • Share ideas with the Manager and colleagues on how to improve the store.

Qualifications: A valid UK/EU/EEA driving licence (full or automatic only) held for at least 12 months with no more than 3 penalty points.

Eligibility: Applicants must be over 18 years of age. For roles requiring work before 6:15 am or after 9:45 pm, the applicant must be over 18.
