Pay starting at £14.18 per hour, increasing to £15.45 for stores inside the M25. Additional payments may apply depending on location.
Work Hours:
We offer a minimum of 16 guaranteed hours per week, with flexibility down to 12 hours if desired. Shifts are scheduled within the availability windows above, with three weeks' notice of the exact schedule.
Responsibilities:
- Ensure the van and trays are clean, tidy and organized.
- Leave the back yard clean, tidy and clear of rubbish, and pick up litter as seen.
- Washing trays as part of the tray wash process.
- Load the van as required and check the van for roadworthiness.
- Communicate with the customer about any changes to their order, including short code items and substitutions, and offer refunds for any dissatisfaction.
- Take care of products/deliveries as if they were your own.
- Explain to the customer that they will not be charged for their substitutions.
- Deliver during the customer's time slot.
- Call the customer before arriving at their property if early.
- Call the store/centre if running 30 or more minutes late.
- Build relationships with colleagues to create team spirit and support one another at base.
- Provide a warm and welcoming experience to customers and colleagues; give thanks and listen to their needs.
- Respond quickly to changing customer needs and embrace change within the store.
- Share ideas with managers and colleagues on improving the store for customers.
Qualifications:
- Valid UK/EU/EEA driving licence (Full or Automatic) held for at least 12 months with no more than 3 penalty points.
- Must be 18 years or older when required by law.
