Compensation
Tesco Phone Shop Colleague pay starts at £13.70 per hour, rising to £14.97 in stores within the M25. Some locations may offer additional payments. We guarantee a minimum of 12 hours per week.
Hours and Scheduling
Your contracted hours will be scheduled within the availability windows shown, with at least 3 weeks’ notice of your shifts. If your availability is close to what we’re looking for, we still encourage you to apply.
Responsibilities
- Provide friendly, natural service and get to know your customers.
- Provide flexible support across the Phone Shop and wider store, including helping customers choose the right mobile products and services, completing phone and contract setups, and supporting customers with a range of tech queries.
- Make customer‑focused decisions and complete key store routines.
- Understand how your role supports great service, strong sales, waste reduction and overall store performance.
- Show a passion for delivering great service, greeting every customer with a smile, and serving them with pride while helping them find the right mobile products and solutions.
- Build rapport quickly so customers leave feeling confident, supported, and having had a great experience in the Phone Shop.
- Initiate the right decisions for customers, whether you’re solving a tech query, recommending a product, or supporting with a contract setup.
- Maintain a positive, team‑focused approach, communicate openly, work well with colleagues across the store, have fun, and celebrate success together.
