Overview
We have an exciting opportunity for a Barista who is enthusiastic about quality food and drink and great customer service to join one of our Tesco Caf e9 teams.
Whether it7s a quick pit-stop after the weekly shop or a long overdue catch-up with a friend, youl ensure our customers enjoy delicious coffee, tea and seasonal drinks that make every day a little better.
You7ll bring your skill as a Barista (or as someone who7s worked in hospitality) to the team and share your knowledge and expertise with those around you.
At Tesco, no one tries harder for customers than we do.
So, you7ll ensure youre familiar with all of our menu offerings and any new initiatives, regularly review stock levels, and serve our customers quickly and efficiently, taking into account any particular requirements.

Responsibilities
- Working at speed to serve a range of drinks to customers quickly and efficiently.
- Adhering to food safety and hygiene regulations to meet required standards.
- Regularly reviewing stock levels and following all policies and procedures.
- Working with the Caf e9 Manager to identify and support team members looking to develop as Baristas.
- Keeping up to date with communications from Tesco, including new offers, initiatives and menu changes.
- Resolving customer complaints where possible.
Qualifications
- Experience of working as a Barista, or in a hospitality environment.
- A commitment to excellent customer service.
- Personal qualities
- Good planning and organisation skills.
- Confidence using initiative to identify opportunities to improve ways of working or adapt to different situations.
- Excellent communication skills to support colleagues and the Caf e9 Manager.
