Pay and Hours
Tesco Shift Lead pay starts at €15.59 per hour, rising to €16.86 in stores within the M25. Some locations may offer additional payments. Minimum 16 hours per week guaranteed, roles from 12 hours also available.
Responsibilities
- Lead the team to deliver a great customer experience in store.
- Work across all areas of the store and with all colleagues, being the go-to person for day‑to‑day operational queries.
- Build positive, inclusive relationships that help colleagues perform at their best.
- Confidently lead the store in the Manager’s absence.
- Make balanced, flexible decisions and adapt well to change.
- Coach colleagues, give feedback and role model great service.
- Stay curious and seek opportunities to serve customers, communities, and the planet a little better every day.
Qualifications
- Experience working in a team lead or management position in a fast‑paced retail environment.
- Be a strong role model with a passion for delivering great service and ensuring every customer’s needs are met.
- Build positive, long‑lasting relationships to create an inclusive, supportive team environment.
- Clear communication using a variety of methods to keep the team well informed.
- Natural leader who motivates and inspires the team to deliver outstanding results.
- Must be 18 or over.
