Availability Window

  • Sun: 05:30 - 12:30
  • Mon: 18:00 - 22:00
  • Sat: 05:30 - 11:30

Pay and Hours

Our Tesco Colleague rate of pay starts from £13.28 an hour; this increases to £14.55 for stores within the M25. Additional payments may also apply depending on location. We offer a minimum of 16 guaranteed hours each week, but you may request fewer hours down to a minimum of 12.

Responsibilities

  • Being a colleague in one of our stores means that you will help to serve our shoppers better every day.
  • You will meet great people, learn new things and be part of a specialist, diverse team where everyone is welcome.
  • You may work in different areas of the store, including service, picking and replenishment.
  • You will put into practice the training you have received, ensuring safe, effective and brilliant service for customers.

  • You will be knowledgeable about your store's performance, understand your role in driving service and sales, reducing waste and shrink, and delivering profit.
  • You will handle products with care to maintain quality and ensure they reach customers in the best condition.
  • You will be yourself, live our values, make everyone feel welcome and always follow our policies.
  • At times, you may be required to accept deliveries into the store.

Eligibility

You must be over 18 to apply for this role. We can only accept candidates over the age of 18 if the role requires working before 6:15 am, after 9:45 pm, or involves working in areas such as the warehouse, beer, wine & spirits, counters, bakery and driving roles.
