Tesco Shift Lead pay starts at €15.59 per hour, rising to €16.86 in stores within the M25. Some locations may offer additional payments. We guarantee a minimum of 16 hours per week, though roles from 12 hours are also available. Your contracted hours will be scheduled within the availability windows shown, with at least 3 weeks’ notice of your shifts. If your availability is close to what we’re looking for, we still encourage you to apply.

Eligibility: Must be 18 or over.

  • Lead the team to deliver a great experience for customers in-store.
  • Work across all areas of the store and with all colleagues, being the go-to person for day‑to‑day operational queries.

  • Confidently lead the store in the manager’s absence.

Experience & qualifications

  • Experience working in a team lead or management position in a fast‑paced retail environment.
  • Be a strong role model with a passion for delivering great service and ensuring every customer’s needs are met.

  • Be a clear communicator, using a variety of methods to keep the team well informed.
