We have a fantastic opportunity to join our Distribution Centre as a Class 1 Driver.

Our Regional Distribution centres supply our 198 cash and carry sites with all their products including Fresh, Frozen and Ambient stock.

Overtime opportunities also available.

Fully funded CPC training hours provided.

All candidates will have to undertake a drug and alcohol test as part of the pre‑employment tests.

Responsibilities

  • Safe delivery of stock to our 198 cash and carry stores.
  • Ensure all paperwork is completed after delivery.
  • Maintain vehicle in good condition at the start and finish of each shift.
  • Work autonomously as well as part of the wider transport team.

Qualifications

  • Valid C+E licence (experience in driving a class 1 vehicle preferred but not essential).
  • All applicants must be CPC qualified.
  • Must not have more than 6 points on the licence, no ‘Careless Driving’ convictions, no mobile phone or drink‑driving prosecutions, and must comply with Construction of Use.
  • Acceptable for candidates over the age of 18 for work before 6:15 am or after 9:45 pm, or involving driving roles, warehouse, beers, wines & spirits.
