Responsibilities:
- Ensure van and trays are clean and organised.
- Keep back yard clean, tidy and free of rubbish, and pick up litter.
- Wash trays as part of the tray wash process.
- Load van as required and check the van for roadworthiness.
- Communicate with customers regarding changes to orders, offer refunds for unsatisfied items, and explain that no extra charges apply for substitutions.
- Deliver during the customer's time slot, calling them before arrival if early.
- Call the store or centre if running 30 or more minutes late.
- Build relationships with colleagues to foster team spirit and improve customer experience.
- Act warmly and welcomingly with customers and colleagues, saying thank you.
- Respond quickly to changing customer needs and embrace change within the store.
- Share ideas with managers and colleagues for store improvement.
Qualifications:
- Valid UK/EU/EEA driving licence (Full or Automatic) with at least 12 months of driving history and no more than 3 penalty points.
Age Restrictions: Applicants must be over 18 if the role requires working before 06:15 am or after 09:45 pm, or involves working in areas such as warehouse, drinks, counters, bakery, or driving.
