As a local delivery driver for Booker, you will drive vehicle locally, build relationships with regular customers, and ensure timely delivery of goods to customers' premises. The operation runs seven days a week; shift patterns may include weekend work.
Responsibilities
- Load stock into the vehicle at the branch and unload at customer premises.
- Ensure paperwork is completed accurately.
- Maintain customers' shelves with required products.
- Carry out manual deliveries as required.
- Adhere to scheduled shift patterns, including potential weekend work.
Qualifications
- Cat C / 18T licence.
- At least two years of driving experience.
- Preferred previous delivery driving experience.
- Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
- Good literacy and numeracy.
- Minimum age 18 years (applicable if role requires work before 6:15 am, after 9:45 pm, or in warehouse/driving activities).
