You’ll work in our stores, delivering a great customer experience and managing day‑to‑day store operations. The role requires leading a team, making balanced decisions, and supporting the manager when absent.
Responsibilities
- Lead the store team during shifts, ensuring excellent customer service.
- Handle day‑to‑day operational queries across all areas of the store.
- Build and maintain positive, inclusive relationships with colleagues.
- Confidently manage the store in the manager’s absence.
- Make balanced, flexible decisions and adapt well to change.
- Coach colleagues, give feedback and model great service.
- Stay curious and seek opportunities to better serve customers, communities, and the planet.
Qualifications
- Experience leading a team or managing in a fast‑paced retail environment.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to keep the team well informed.
- Strong role model with a passion for delivering excellent service and ensuring customer needs are met.
- Natural leader who motivates and inspires the team to deliver outstanding results.
- Over 18 years old.
Availability & Compensation
- Pay starts at £15.59 per hour, rising to £16.86 for M25 stores.
- Minimum of 16 hours per week, with 12‑hour roles available.
- Shifts are scheduled within the availability windows indicated, with at least 3 weeks’ notice for shifts.
