The predicted salary is between 12 - 12 £ per hour.
Availability
All shifts are scheduled within the following windows: Tuesday to Friday, 16:00–24:00, and Saturday 15:00–24:00.
We provide a minimum of 16 guaranteed hours per week, with the option to work as few as 12 hours.
Responsibilities
- Serve shoppers and help them find products quickly and efficiently.
- Maintain the shop by picking, replenishing and supporting the service, picking and replenishment areas as required.
- Apply training to work safely, effectively and to deliver excellent customer experience.
- Make decisions that protect the customer experience and support the store’s performance.
- Participate in seasonal, community and charity events and help create an inclusive atmosphere.
- Handle products with care to maintain quality and presentation.
- Accept deliveries into the store where required.
Qualifications & Skills
- Passionate about delivering great service and building rapport with customers.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work well within a team.
- Self‑motivated to take the initiative and make decisions in the customer’s best interest.
- Professional presentation and punctuality – a brand ambassador in the workplace.
- Understanding of the store’s performance, waste reduction and profitability goals.
- Other Requirements
Applicants must be over 18 years of age.
The role may involve early morning or late evening work (pre‑6:15 am or post‑9:45 pm) and activity in areas such as the warehouse, beer, wine, spice counters, bakery, and driving roles.
