Tesco Pharmacy Dispenser pay starts at £13.70 per hour, rising to £14.97 in stores within the M25. Some locations may offer additional payments. We guarantee a minimum of 16 hours per week, though roles from 12 hours are also available.

Responsibilities
  • Support the daily operation of a modern Tesco Pharmacy as part of a collaborative team.
  • Accurately dispense prescription medicines with strong attention to detail and customer care.
  • Provide friendly, confident advice to customers on medicines, common ailments, and available pharmacy services.
  • Understand customer needs and recommend suitable products responsibly.
  • Handle queries within competence and escalate when needed.
  • Maintain high standards of cleanliness, organisation, and compliance with all Standard Operating Procedures.
  • Ensure all prescription administration is completed accurately and on time.
  • Support promotional activities and company initiatives.
Qualifications & Experience
  • Experience or qualifications gained from working in a Pharmacy environment.
  • A desire to train and develop into the Pharmacy field.
  • A passion for delivering great service, greeting every customer with a smile, and serving them with pride while helping them find the right products and solutions.

  • The ability to build rapport quickly so customers leave feeling confident, supported, and reassured, having had a great experience at the Pharmacy counter.
