Our Tesco Colleague rate of pay starts from £13.28 an hour; this increases to £14.55 for stores within the M25. Additional payments may also apply depending on location.
We offer a minimum of 16 guaranteed hours each week. If you would like to work fewer hours (minimum 12) we also have opportunities for this.
We will schedule your contracted hours within these availability windows and provide you with 3 weeks' notice of your shifts. We are happy to support flexibility if your available times match closely but not exactly the advertised times.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Serve shoppers every day and help them find what they need.
- Build rapport with customers, ensuring they leave with a great shopping experience.
- Work across the store in service, picking and replenishment areas as required.
- Implement training received, working safely, effectively and serving customers brilliantly.
- Make decisions that benefit customers and meet their needs at the right time.
- Take part in seasonal, community and charity events, creating a great inclusive atmosphere.
- Maintain product quality and ensure it reaches customers in the best condition.
- Manage store performance, understand your part in driving service, sales, reducing waste and shrinkage, and delivering profit.
- Accept deliveries into the store when required.
