The predicted salary is between 12 - 14 £ per hour.
Availability window: Sun 14:00–17:00, Fri 14:00–21:00, Sat 13:30–21:00. Pharmacy Dispenser pay starts from £12.87 per hour and increases to £14.08 for stores inside the M25. Additional payments may apply depending on location. It is our policy to offer new colleagues a minimum of 16 guaranteed hours each week; if you’d like to work fewer hours (to a minimum of 12), we have opportunities for this too and would love to hear from you.
You will work in a fast-paced environment focused on delivering a gold standard of service and patient care. Responsibilities include assisting customers with new medicines, providing vaccinations, reviewing use of medicines, and checking blood pressure or blood glucose levels. It is about supporting our communities by helping people make the best healthcare choices locally. You will work alongside experienced Pharmacists and managers who provide local management and leadership support. Our management team comes from diverse backgrounds, offering opportunities to learn.

Responsibilities- Supporting the operation of one of our new modern Pharmacies.
- Applying technical skills and strong customer focus to accurately dispense medication.
- Dispensing prescription medicines with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Talking to customers in a confident, friendly and professional manner to provide great service.
- Offering information to customers on common ailments, symptoms and products.
- Understanding customers’ needs, explaining product benefits clearly and only selling what is right for the customer.
- Advising customers on the range of Pharmacy services available.
- Supporting and delivering Pharmacy services and the dispensing process according to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Assessing the legal appropriateness of dispensed prescriptions.
- Handling clinical and legal queries from Healthcare Practitioners within area of competence.
- Responding to customer queries regarding prescription medicines and informing the Pharmacist of any complaints.
- Ensuring all dispensary routines and SOPs are followed.
- Keeping dispensary and consulting rooms clean, tidy and free of clutter.
- Ensuring all prescription administration is accurate and completed on time.
- Carrying out promotional activities and company initiatives within the team.
- Carrying out procedures accurately to protect profit and ensure safe and legal trading.
- Completing corporate and departmental training and staying up to date with legal and professional developments in pharmacy.
- Experience working in a Pharmacy environment is desirable.
- A desire to train and develop in the Pharmacy field.
- Good teamwork and the ability to work as part of a team.
